The end of the year is approaching, a time when many in our community make their largest donation of the year to help Jews in need everywhere.

In recent months, we have informed you about how your generosity aids Jews.  This compassionate work is critical and continues year-round on your behalf.  Thousands upon thousands of people of all ages have been helped this year. 

But right now, we want to remind you that your donation to the Jewish federation also helps people here at home.

There is far more poverty and need among Jews here in our own country than many people realize.

Dozens of agencies in our community rely on funding from the Jewish federation.  That’s why we hope you will make a generous donation today.  We are hoping to raise $600,000 before the end of the year.  And don’t forget that any donations you make before December 31st are tax-deductible this year.  Pledges made can be paid over the year, but are only deductible in the year paid.
